Join us for worship as we gather in faith, reflection, and renewal at the First Baptist Church of Crown Heights. The service opens with a powerful Song of Praise, You Don’t Know Like I Know by Charles G. Hayes, followed by the Call to Worship led by Rev. Beaulah E. Smith. Together, we’ll lift our voices in the Morning Hymn Hold to God’s Unchanging Hand (#404), grounding ourselves in God’s steady and faithful presence.
Minister Suzette Spann-Scarborough will lead the congregation in prayer, followed by the choral response If You Wait by Cornelius Wyche & Octave Praise. Rev. Dr. Christine Caton will offer Pastoral Emphasis and a warm welcome before we enter the Ministry of Giving—online giving is available through the link in the description.
The Scripture reading from Isaiah 43:18–21 will remind us that God is doing a new thing among us. Our hearts will be prepared through the sermonic meditation Even Me by the Howard Gospel Choir, leading into the sermon and invitation, It’s Halftime, delivered by Rev. Dr. Christine Caton.
We will then come together at the Lord’s Table for Holy Communion, welcoming new members through the Right Hand of Fellowship with What a Fellowship. Communion sentences and prayer will be accompanied by His Blood Still Works by VaShawn Mitchell. The service will conclude with the Benediction led by Rev. Caton, sending us forth renewed, recommitted, and confident in God’s unfailing love.
