The Unique David Chavis Male Chorus opens our Mother’s Day worship celebration with *Clap Your Hands* by 7 Sons of Soul, inviting us into a joyful time of praise and thanksgiving. Minister Suzette Spann-Scarborough will lead the Call to Worship and Invocation, followed by the Morning Hymn *Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing* (#175), as we honor the women whose love, sacrifice, wisdom, and prayers have shaped our lives and our faith.
Rev. Dr. Christine Caton will lead a moving Mother’s Day Litany, giving thanks for mothers, grandmothers, aunts, sisters, mentors, and every woman who has nurtured and guided others with compassion and strength. Deacon Denise Taylor will offer the congregational prayer, and the choir will minister through *Be With Me* by Pastor Darren Farmer. Sis. Alecia Mason will share Life at First Baptist, followed by Pastoral Emphasis from Rev. Dr. Rashad Raymond Moore. The Scripture reading from **Luke 8:1–3 and Luke 24:9–10 (NKJV)** will be shared by Rev. Dr. Ava Jolley, reminding us of the faithful women who walked with and witnessed the ministry of Jesus. Our hearts will then be prepared through the meditation *Something About the Name Jesus* by Kirk Franklin as we continue celebrating the enduring faith and love passed down through generations.
