Join us for our Devotion & Testimony (Watch Night) Service as we gather to reflect on God’s faithfulness, give thanks for the year behind us, and step prayerfully into the year ahead. The service will be led by the Deacon Board and begin with the Call to Worship by Minister Suzette Spann-Scarborough, followed by a heartfelt Song of Praise, Lord, I Just Wanna Thank You. Rev. Beaulah E. Smith will offer the Invocation as we enter this sacred moment of gratitude and expectation.
We will share together in the Watch Night Service Litany (#104) led by Minister Phillip Anderson, and be blessed by the Dance Ministry with This Is the Day by Fred Hammond. Rev. Dr. Rashad Raymond Moore will extend welcome and announcements before we move into the Ministry of Giving—online giving is available through the link in the description—accompanied by So Good by Nate Bean & 4Given.
The Scripture reading from Psalm 121 will be shared by Rev. Dr. Ava Jolley, reminding us that our help comes from the Lord. Our hearts will be prepared through the sermonic meditation My Heavenly Father Watches Over Me by the Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church Mass Choir. Rev. Dr. Rashad Raymond Moore will then deliver the sermon and invitation, calling us to renewed faith, trust, and commitment for the year ahead.
We will close this powerful night of worship with Total Praise by Richard Smallwood, followed by the New Year’s Prayer and Benediction led by Rev. Moore. Join us as we cross over together—covered in prayer, anchored in hope, and confident in the God who watches over us.
