The Gospel Ensemble opens our worship with *I Love to Praise Him* by the Mississippi Mass Choir as we gather with grateful hearts and lifted voices at the First Baptist Church of Crown Heights. Rev. Dr. Ava Jolley leads the Call to Worship, reminding us that Christ has ascended in glory, the Comforter has come, and God continues to lead us toward higher ground. Together we affirm that even in uncertain times, our hearts are not troubled because the Spirit of truth lives within us and guides us every step of the way.
We continue in worship with the Morning Hymn *Higher Ground* (#419), lifting our prayers and hopes toward the place where God is calling us to grow. Rev. Beaulah E. Smith will lead both the Baby Blessing and congregational prayer, celebrating new life and God’s sustaining grace. The choir will minister through *I Don’t Feel No Ways Tired* by Rev. James Cleveland, reminding us that through every season, God has carried us faithfully.
Sis. Alecia Mason will share Life at First Baptist, followed by Pastoral Emphasis from Rev. Dr. Rashad Raymond Moore. We’ll continue in worship through the Ministry of Giving—please use the link in the description to give online. The Scripture reading from **Acts 1:6–14 (NRSV)** will prepare our hearts for the meditation *I’m Available to You* by Milton Brunson. Rev. Moore will then deliver the sermon and invitation, calling us to remain faithful, prayerful, and available to God’s purpose.
