DESCRIPTION:K–12 classroom teachers can join EcoRise to learn how to incorporate sustainability and hands-on learning into your classroom!\n\n\nThis workshop is for K–12 classroom teachers. \nRe-imagine your classroom as a laboratory for applied sustainability education! Explore how EcoRise curriculum\, resources\, and grant funds for student-driven projects can be used to increase student engagement and cultivate eco-literacy your campus and in your community. This social hour offers teachers and nonformal educators an introduction to EcoRise resources\, along with a structured networking session designed to foster collaboration. \nShort Agenda: \n\nAccess dozens of easy-to-implement design activities that you can use with your own students in a remote or in-person environment.\nDiscuss resources and share ideas with other educators \nExplore how to apply for an Eco-Audit Grant\, our student-driven project fund\, and review examples of successful student campus and community projects.\n\n The first 20 teachers to register and attend will receive a drink ticket for a free beverage of their choice.
