Join us for a powerful **Easter Sunday Celebration** on **April 5, 2026**, at the First Baptist Church of Crown Heights as we rejoice in the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The service begins with the Call to Worship, *He Rose* (#280), followed by a special **Resurrection Report** from our Youth Ministry, celebrating the victory of new life. The opening selection, *Jesus Rose* by Vincent Bohanan & SOV, will lift our hearts in praise as we declare the good news that Christ is risen.
Minister Suzette Spann-Scarborough will lead us in congregational prayer, followed by a dynamic choral response through dance with *Don’t Cry* by Kirk Franklin. We’ll hear Life at First Baptist from Sis. Alecia Mason, and Rev. Dr. Rashad Raymond Moore will share Pastoral Emphasis. The Scripture reading from **John 20:1–18 (NKJV)** will center us in the resurrection story, followed by a moving meditation, *For God So Loved the World*. Rev. Moore will then deliver the homily and invitation, proclaiming the hope, power, and promise of Easter.
We will conclude by gathering at the Lord’s table for **Holy Communion**, welcoming one another through the Right Hand of Fellowship with *What a Fellowship* (#371), and sharing in the bread and the cup with *New Life* by Rev. Timothy Wright & the NY Fellowship Mass Choir. The service will close with the Benediction, sending us forth in resurrection power, joy, and new beginnings.
